What’s On My Christmas List
Blouse || Simiar Skirt || Heels ($50 off with code SARAHFLINT-BAKATIE) || Handbag
In my humble opinion, I’ve been a very good girl this year. Between dealing with COVID and our house flooding, the most important thing on my wish list over the next few days is relaxing. Still, Santa has me on his nice list and wanted to know what I wanted to see under the tree. The list is short, but here’s are some of my top gift ideas for me in 2020.
Crisp White Leather Sneakers
I’m surprisingly hard to shop for. If I have my eye on something, then I typically just buy it or wait until the urge to purchase goes away. I’ve had the same pair of everyday shoes for a few years and my Tretorn sneakers, while I simply adore them, have seen better days. This year, I’m wanting to mix it up with a pair of Veja sneakers. The crisp white with the light blue accents will work with nearly everything in my closet.
Classic Pearl Earrings
In the same vane as my sneakers, I recently realized I needed a new pair of classic pearl earrings. I had gotten by the past few years with just mixing and matching old pearl studs that no longer had a partner. Ever since I began working from home, I typically have been opting to skip earrings all together. I can’t wait to have a brand new set to wear from day to night.
Personalized Backgammon Board
Like so many of you, I’ve spent the majority of 2020 at home with my significant other. Since we’re both working from home, my goal is to have more two-player board games on the ready to entertain ourselves. A personalized backgammon set is just what we need for a fun night in.
Burrow Leather Sofa
Well, this is a gift David and I gave ourselves. We lost nearly all of our furniture when our house flooded. Now that we’re “settled” in our new/old apartment, we ordered a chocolate brown leather couch from Burrow. By a Christmas miracle, it arrived last night. Let’s just say it makes our apartment feel cozier. Tripp, our Basset Hound, is certainly to have a spot to veg on.
No matter what gifts we find underneath the tree, I’m so happy for a quiet Christmas. It’s also a sign that 2020 is beginning to come to a close and 2021 is opening up to be the best year ever. Well, here’s to be an optimist at least.
