While I absolutely love splurge or investment items, I get so much joy in finding budget friendly pieces! There’s nothing better than being complimented on an outfit and then happily sharing, “Thanks, it was $30.” Chic and classic style can be accomplished at any price range, you just have to know where to look. Each and every Spring, Target comes out with some of my favorites for a new season. Even though they’re under $50, I have the pleasure of wearing them all year round. Here’s a quick round up of my favorite Target picks for under $50.
Wrap Midi Dress
Let’s start with what I’m wearing! As soon as I spied this while shopping online, I knew I had to have it in my closet. I may or may not have purchased two additional colors to this beautiful green (garnet and black). The material is incredibly soft and… the dress has pockets! It’s been my go-to date night look recently. I can feel dressed up without even trying at all.
Gingham Blazer
Even when I had to 9 to 5 job, I always looked for office staples with a twist. I’ve been loving the idea of oversized blazers. Even though Florida has been unseasonably warm, it still gets cool when the sun begins to dip. I’ll just through on this piece for an extra layer. I also just love the neutral color for one of my favorite patterns.
Eyelet Long-Sleeve Blouse
I never have enough eyelet in my wardrobe. Year after year, I always pick up a new top. It almost feels like the unofficial sign of Spring. This top comes in a versatile grey and white, but I love the fuchsia for a bright pop of color. It would look so sharp with a pair of crisp white jeans and raffia sandals.
Puff Sleeve Midi Dress
What really spoke to me with this dress was the color! I have a sneaking suspicion that lavender is going to be the it color of the Spring and Summer. I mean, it’s been everywhere… Including my closet! This fun dress will let you get in on the trend without breaking the bank. Lavender not quite your style? That’s okay because there’s also a classic white, that will be just perfect with a fresh Spring Break tan.
Floral Ruffled Blouse
I’ve been having a slight obsession with block prints. Seeing as how I would early ever wear florals even a year ago, this is a huge step for me. I think the secret is florals in simple color palettes. Two colors help it feel like a neutral. Of course, I’m always good with a floral print in this navy. Again, I can’t wait to wear with white jeans or chino shorts.
High Rise Joggers
Let’s be real, working from home has drastically changed so many of our 9 to 5 looks. On days when I just don’t feel like getting dressed up, joggers and a tee are what I turn too. The colors available for this pair are fun and uplifting, just like Spring should be. Even swapping your typical black pair for a cheerful pink can be an instant mood booster!
Sleeveless Midi Dress
This time last year, I absolutely lived in my satin midi dress from J. Crew. It was the perfect thing to throw on while working from home and almost feel put-together. This new option from Target feels such a simple update, but the end result is the same. Simple change the footwear for a completely different outfit.
Gauze Button-Down Shirt
Recently, I’ve fallen in love again with button-down shirts. The lighter, the better! While my preference is a white, over-sized shirt, I’m happy to add more colors to my collection. The navy is an obvious choice (one that I just ordered for myself), but I also love the peach and violet.
Sage Green Quilted Jacket
I know that Florida is typically warmer than most parts of the country and Spring has reached everywhere just yet. Fear not because there are still some fun pieces for those still in the heart of winter. I absolutely love this age green quilted jacket. While I wouldn’t be able to get much use out of it, I know some of my Northern readers will just love it!
Ruffled Midi Dress
My absolute favorite dress from last year is back for Round Two, and with a whole rainbow of new colors. It’s the same, buttery soft fabric as my wrap dress and still includes the pockets. It’s the kind of dress that you can slip on and work around the house or run errands with.
Long-Sleeve Maxi Dress
I know Target got some flack for their “Little House of the Prairie” inspired-dress, but am I the only one who kind of liked it? This particular dress is a little tamer sans ruffles, but has all of the movement and flow. The lavender floral in person is just so pretty, and perfect for Spring.
Boho Smock Top
One final piece, that I bought and simply loved! I hate to admit it, but I’ve worn this weekly since it arrived. The smock top style is surprisingly flattering, but it’s the print that really blows me away. I have the blue floral, but deeply regret not ordering the coral damask print as well! Pair with your favorite pair of jeans for a boho, monochromatic look.
No matter, what your budget, there are so many incredible sources for budget friendly and classic styles. Above all else, I hope to be a resource to show you how easy combing high-low styles can actually be!
