Some big changes are coming my way next week! Our next chapter is calling and we’re moving somewhere new! I’ve called St. Pete, Florida home for nearly my entire life, minus a three-year stint in Manhattan. During that time, I tried to take full advantage of living in warm weather year-round and got to really love several local businesses. Still, David and I became restless and ready to start a new chapter. As I write this from our recently sold sunny bungalow, most of our belongings have been packed up and are off to the next destination. The only things remaining are the furniture we’re leaving behind and the necessities to help us live a semi-nomadic lifestyle.

Although this seems sudden, it’s something we have been discussing for a while. Honestly, some elements of Florida didn’t feel so much like home anymore, and we began daydreaming. It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what the final nail was, but once we decided, it seemed like the most natural thing to do next. Am I a little bit nervous? Of course! Moving and starting over is always a nerve-wracking experience. Am I excited? Now that we’re so close to the finish line, absolutely! 

I’m going to leave you hanging in suspense as to where the Kennedys are heading for a few more days. Chalk it up to a slight flair for the dramatic and the love for a big reveal. Trust me, though, when I announce our next destination, I bet it’s going to connect a lot of dots!

My Favorite Outfit of 2023?

I know it’s really early in the year, but is it too early to call this as my favorite outfit of 2023? When I first laid eyes on this Lady Jacket from J. Crew, my jaw hit the floor. It is the most incredible shade of green and will be an instant classic. For a really great bargain, you’ll also love this tweed jacket from H&M. They have been coming out with the most classic pieces lately! Although I wanted to pair it with the matching tweed dress, it felt like a better opportunity to wear a pair of high-waisted white pants, and play with proportions. The result was an incredibly chic that I wish I could wear on the streets of Paris. Instead, dinner at Left Bank Bistro in St. Pete would have to do.

It seems like you really can’t have a conversation about French fashion without mentioning one of the icons! While there are so many shoes in my closet that would match this look, the cap toe heels from were just perfect! The Chanel version is obviously a must have, but this pair from Amazon is the next best thing at a fraction of the price! Would you be willing to make the splurge or prefer the savings? When it comes to something so timeless, you can almost think of it as an investment. With the proper care, these luxury shoes can last you for years to come!
