My 33rd birthday began with breakfast at Arden’s in Rowayton and ended with a dinner for three at The Whelk in Westport. This was the first mark of a new chapter in my life as a mother. Recently welcoming our beautiful baby girl, Brennan, has brought a sense tranquility that I had never experienced before. This birthday feels special as I look forward to a quieter trip around the sun, filled with the simplicity of parenthood. The past month has been a whirlwind of late-night feedings, giggles, and endless diaper changes, but it’s also been the most rewarding time of my life.
The small, everyday moments with our daughter have made me appreciate the beauty of a slower pace. Celebrating with my little family, I’ve come to realize that this year isn’t about grand adventures or big plans. It’s about cherishing the intimate, precious time we have together. As I embrace this new year, I’m filled with gratitude and anticipation for the memories we’ll create and the milestones we’ll reach as a family. Here’s to a year of love, growth, and the quiet, beautiful moments that make life truly extraordinary.
Love from Connecticut,
Katie
