Bermuda-ful Beaches
Cover-Up || Swimsuit || Sunglasses
I have always heard that Bermuda beaches were gorgeous, but I really wasn’t prepared for what I saw on our trip. When we turned the corner around the parking lot at Jobson’s Cove, David and I were both speechless! There was a spans of pink sands and turquoise water for as far as the eye could see! The best part of this beach was that we had almost entirely to ourselves. I was shocked to see only one other group on a bright and beautiful Bermudian Sunday.
Sprinkled throughout this beach are intimate coves that make you want to completely forget the real world. This beach seems absolutely endless and I wish we had more time to spend there, but we had other beaches to check off. Just down the road you’ll find Horseshoe Bay Beach. Definitely the more touristy of the two, with onsite restaurant, it is still a site to see. Since it’s one of the most photographed spots on the island, be sure to bring your camera.
Our lost stop on our Bermudian beach hop was the Hamilton Princess Beach Club. It was a gorgeous private beach that is exclusively for hotel guests. Because of its cove, the waters were calm and perfect for wading or relaxing in one of their in-water hammocks. This beach has all of the amenities you would need or want without the crowds or pre-planning.
Finally, this little cover-up from Lilly Pulitzer was exactly the thing to wear while walking the beaches, but still appropriate for grabbing a casual lunch. Underneath, I was hiding this one-piece suit from J. Crew in a bubblegum shade of pink. Pink is never really my number one color of choice, but 1) it just seemed like the color to wear in Bermuda, and 2) the color was surprisingly flatter for faking a summer tan.
Although I have a little more Bermuda content up my sleeve, I’m all done bombarding you with what an amazing trip I had. Until next time Bermuda, but I’ll see you soon!
Love from NYC,
Katie
