Excuse me because I’m currently in the middle of dressing for the weather I want! I was able to miss the worst of last weekend’s cold temperatures, but you know there’s an issue when you are starting to feel comfortable and it’s only 32 degrees out!
Now, let’s talk about this darling little dress from Lilly Pulitzer. I’m always a fan of their Ottoman Stripe print, but this version may just be my favorite! The colors are two gorgeous shades of blue and the stretchy material is always flattering. I actually have a few dresses in this same material and I love them all!
I personally think the best feature of this dress is the flared, peplum sleeves. It’s such a fun detail that elevates an otherwise simple shift dress. Not to mention, the sleeves give the dress some much needed movement for a fun soiree or night out.
Even though this dress is a pretty subtle one, it has the ability to make a major statement! That’s why I opted for more neutral accessories. These navy Sam Edelman heels, I’m pretty sure, go with just about everything and this dress is no exception. My go-to tortoise clutch from Tuckernuck steps in as an unexpected accent piece.
There’s so much to love about this little number. You would really be doing yourself a favor by adding it to your closet. If the color combo doesn’t quite wow you enough, they also have a navy and white option that is equally as versatile!
Love from NYC,
Katie
