I’m sure you all already have a navy blazer (or two) in your closet. It is one of the fundamental staples everyone needs to have. While they are always great to throw on and go, how fun would it be to find one with a bunch of personality that can make a statement all on it’s own? Don’t worry, it still will be the classic style that we all know and love. My pick is coming to you from Talbots. It’s actually my first time sporting an oversized blazer and I’m really digging it! It’s such a cozy way of looking put together, but is still current and effortlessly chic. I’ve become so smitten, I’ve decided to add a few more to my wardrobe for the season.
The other great thing about this blazer is the fabric. Instead of the typical wool that you find on most blazers, this option gets so much texture from the navy tweed. It’s extremely versatile and easy to style for the everyday. The lapel and pockets are outlined in a crisp white to give just the right amount of contrast for a little more detail. When I wore my blazer on a cold, rainy day in Newport I was able to stay plenty warm without losing my sense of style. Always important!
