As my blog posts about our wonderful Paris Babymoon begin to wind down, I’m still canvassing through hundreds of the little moment we had and the pictures we took along the way. Paris is, if nothing else, such a truly photogenic city. From the film noir inspired cocktails at a roof top bar to simply exploring the tiny side streets on the Left Bank, I’m endlessly inspired by the City of Lights. If you ever hear people who speak negatively of Paris… That it’s over-hyped, the residents are rude, that trash is everywhere… Do not believe it for one second!
I think one of my favorite quotes from Ernest Hemingway truly says it best, “If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris, then wherever you go for the rest of your life, it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast.” As we returned from France and into a busy winter season, I strive to find the moveable feast wherever I go and make the tiny moments feel as special as an evening in Paris. Enjoy these little winter snapshots in Paris.
Where will you find your next moveable feast? It can be in Paris, New York City, or even right in your own backyard. There is so much joy in this world, especially for those who go out of their way to find it.
Love from Paris,
Katie
