7 Pink Hotels to Visit Next

I will never get enough of brightly colored buildings. When I think of my future home, I envision cotton candy shades of pink, blue, or green. Sorry David! Until then, I relish in finding and staying at hotels that are both world class and serve as a big source of design inspiration. Truly hoping that we can travel again soon, I decided to round up the four pink hotels I’ve been privileged to visit, plus three that are currently on my bucket list. Which one would you rather stay in?
Vinoy Hotel: St. Petersburg, Florida
Arguably one of the oldest pink hotels out there, the Vinoy Hotel is a hometown highlight and a personal favorite. I have so many amazing memories here: drinks on the patio, Fourth of July by the pool, and, of course, my wedding day. With this hotel, you can get a sense of old world glamor, a la the 1920s, but with the added benefit of St. Pete’s growing downtown scene. Just step outside and you have a whole row of great restaurants on Beach Drive and the lovely views of Tampa Bay. Come this summer, that will also include front row access to the new St. Pete Pier.
Don Cesar Hotel: St. Pete Beach, Florida
How lucky am I that I get to have two beautiful pink hotels right in my backyard? The Don CeSar is an absolute Goliath of a resort, but in the softest shade of pink, located on pristine St. Pete Beach. It’s typically one of the first pink hotels you’ll see listed because of it’s striking design. I would definitely call it jaw-dropping. It’s no wonder this hotel has been dubbed Florida’s Pink Palace.
The Colony: Palm Beach, Florida
On Florida’s Atlantic coast, in idyllic Palm Beach, you’ll find this hotel that has become a favorite with New Yorkers that are in the know. The quiet streets and clean pink exterior holds a treasure trove of over-the-top prints and colors. The decor is quintessential South Florida that leaves you feeling inspired, no matter where you live. Staying here on my Bachelorette Weekend was a dream come true. Steps away from both the Atlantic Ocean and world-class shopping on Worth Avenue, it’s the perfect spot to call a temporary home.
Hamilton Princess: Hamilton, Bermuda
The final hotel on my list is international, but entirely worth the trip. I have too many great things to say about Bermuda. Truly finally loving with this little island, the Hamilton Princess is a great welcome wagon. We were treated like royalty during our stay and tried to take in all the resort had to offer. On site you’ll find two waterfront pools, a restaurant by chef Marcus Samuelsson, and an extensive collection of art. Take the hotel’s complimentary jitney, also pink, and you’ll be escorted to their private pink sand beach a short ride later.
On My Bucket List:
Royal Hawaiian: Honolulu, Hawaii
Never have I ever been to Hawaii, but it’s definitely on my list. My mom actually lived on Oahu and I would love to see where she grew up. The Royal Hawaiian is situated on world famous Waikiki Beach. Compared to the newer high rises, this hotel looks like a perfectly pink oasis.
Cobbler’s Cove: Speightstown, Barbados
This hotels is equal parts tropical country club and English estate. Located on the west coast of Barbados, the pictures alone are enough for me to book a trip. From an interior design stand point, nothing has been overlooked. Rattan, linens, and conch shells are always a recipe for success in my book.
Coral House: Harbour Island, Bahamas
Since The Bahamas is just a quick flight away from Florida, I’ve decided it’s going to be my next international destination. This house is actually owned and loved by Charleston blogger Chastity Evans. She is such an inspiration in more ways than one. Watching the transformation of this historic Harbour Island home makes me so excited to some day buy my own vacation spot in the Caribbean.
From shore to shore, you can’t help but really love a pink hotel. They say that first impressions matter the most. You instantly recognize the love and hard work that goes into maintaining such a bright and cheerful space. I can’t wait to visit more and cross them off my list.
Love from Florida,
Katie
